UnderstandingWhen pigment settles unevenly

Spots appear when melanin — the pigment that colours the skin — is distributed unevenly. The most common causes: repeated sun exposure (so-called 'sun' or age-related spots), hormonal changes (pregnancy, contraception), or the marks left by past blemishes.

They settle mainly on the most exposed areas: face, décolleté and hands.

With targeted care and real consistency, spots gradually fade and the complexion becomes more even.

What Maison Andromède offersFading spots and evening the complexion

After a skin diagnosis, we put in place a progressive protocol:

At home, targeted brightening care (ZO Skin Health, Mesoesthetic) and, above all, daily sun protection — essential to avoid triggering the spots again.

Any spot that changes in appearance, colour or size should be assessed by a doctor.
